Impact

Transforming spaces today for a brighter tomorrow.

We’re passionate about having a positive impact on people and places.

Combining an innovative approach with a commitment to making a positive difference, our ESG strategy is guided by our people. We work in collaboration with industry partners to ensure we maximise opportunities to create a healthier, happier and greener future.

Setting the standard

Our ESG strategy is informed by the One Planet Living Framework and the values of the UK Green Building Council.

Five key principles are at the heart of this strategy: Climate & Environment, Sustainable Design, Health & Wellbeing, Community & Education and ESG Investment. This ensures that we have a sharp focus on sustainability, maximise our ability to enhance communities, and foster a culture where our people can prosper.

Making a difference to our communities.

We ensure that community benefit is at the heart of every build, helping us to create spaces that positively impact people.

As part of this, our charity partnerships across the UK allow us to actively engage with communities on the ground and provide support where it is needed most.

GROUNDWORK UK

In collaboration with Groundwork UK, we have delivered a grassroots charity programme to provide touchpoints of support in the areas we build within.

A grant of more than £310,000 has enabled the delivery of seven local initiatives across the country – each tailored to the specific needs of the local community.

Designed to tackle some of the biggest issues in the areas neighbouring our developments, from food security to unemployment, we are proud of the legacy we have created for schools, families, disadvantaged individuals and community groups across the UK.

SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS

Our partnership with the School of Hard Knocks (SOHK) is impacting hundreds of young people living in some of London’s most deprived areas.

SOHK uses the high-impact sport of rugby to engage with 11 – 16 year olds, who are presenting as disruptive and disengaged, or with social emotional learning needs, prioritising those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Through a long-term blended programme of sport and mentoring, these young individuals gain the tools to improve their self- confidence, communication skills, commitment, self-control and ability to work within a team. By empowering them to make positive changes to their mindset and attitudes, SOHK helps participants to reach their full potential.

Designing for the future

As a carbon-neutral company, we strive to create a legacy that promotes a healthier, happier planet.

With environmental considerations embedded into each of our developments, we work to create spaces that support sustainability ambitions, while creating long-term value.
