2018
Firethorn Trust was established by Chris Webb and Peter Mather, as a full service real estate business backed by the Stephens and Van Tuyl Group. The objective is to grow a fully integrated real estate business focused on development and investment opportunities throughout the UK, allowing for a regional market focus but a national reach.
We rapidly evolved into a dynamic real estate business, focused on developing best-in-class industrial and logistics sites.
2022
Having created 3.25 million sq ft of quality industrial space across seven sites, we completed the sale of our 22-asset logistics portfolio to a leading investment manager for £550 million. Having developed our portfolio to a net-zero carbon construction, we were retained as leasing and asset managers, and have successfully secured major occupiers in the portfolio including Taylor Wimpey, Next Plc, Travis Perkins & B&M.

2023
Following the success of our growing Logistics business and portfolio, we launched Firethorn Living with the appointment of former Unite Group director, Marcus Weeks. Setting out to capitalise on investment opportunities in the residential market, our Living portfolio now includes the landmark redevelopment of One Bessborough Gardens, a series of student accommodation projects in leading university locations, an exciting leisure hostel development in Dublin, and the creation of the UK’s first eco-town with 550 homes.

Building on our proven track record of success, we launched Firethorn Investments with the appointment of Charlie Ingham – former founding partner at Gerald Eve Capital Partners – to lead its development and growth. As an entrepreneurial real estate business with a growing multidisciplinary team, we deliver strategic real estate solutions that are tailored to the individual needs of our clients, partners and projects.
