Delivered as net-zero carbon in construction, the site has a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ specification with more than 40,000 sq. ft. of photovoltaic arrays, 48 electric vehicle charging points, and 15% roof lights.
The development was also the first in the UK to feature PrimX jointless concrete floors. Delivering impressive environmental benefits – including a 30% reduction in construction time and a 70% decrease in CO2 emissions – the system is designed to save money, enhance safety, and increase high-load resistance over time.
Peterborough South also promotes employee health and wellbeing, with a workplace design that is WELL Building Standard ready, located adjacent to the Crown Lakes Country Park and within easy reach of the city’s green network of cycle paths.
